The classification of administrative-territorial division has been revised by the State Statistical Committee.
“Classification of Administrative-Territorial Division, 2024” has been amended to ensure conformance with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On making partial changes in the administrative-territorial division of Babek district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”, dated June 12, 2020, No. 128-VIQ, “On renaming Vang village of Khojavand district of the Republic of Azerbaijan as Chinarli village”, dated October 27, 2020, No. 190-VIQ, “On renaming Gushchubaba village of Khojaly district of the Republic of Azerbaijan as Baharli village”, dated November 20, 2020, No. 196-VIQ, “On renaming Tsakuri village of Khojavand district of the Republic of Azerbaijan as Hunarli village”, dated November 20, 2020, No. 197-VIQ, “On renaming Sagiyan village of Shamakhi district of the Republic of Azerbaijan as Gunashli village”, dated December 15, 2020, No. 212-VIQ, “On making partial changes in the administrative-territorial division of Sharur and Sadarak districts of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”, dated February 23, 2023, No. 275-VIQ, “On making partial changes in the administrative-territorial division of Ganja city”, dated March 4, 2022, No. 492-VIQ, “On establishment of Aghdara district of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, dated December 05, 2023, No. 1043-VIQ and “On making partial changes in the administrative-territorial division of Aghdam, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Khojaly, Khojavand, Gubadli, Lachin and Shusha districts of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, dated December 05, 2023, No. 1044-VIQ, developed in agreement with the Administration of Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and approved by the decision of the Board of the Committee, dated February 16, 2024, No. 2/2.
