Industrial output in January-March 2024

In January-March 2024 industrial products at 15,7 billion manats were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in the oil-gas sector compared to the corresponding period of 2023 increased by 0,2 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 7,8 percent.

64,5 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 29,0 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5,7 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 0,8 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 6,0 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 5,4 percent.

Production of metallurgical industrial products in the manufacturing sector increased by 49,7 percent, production of furniture by 39,0 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 37,3 percent, construction materials 34,4 percent, rubber and plastic products by 26,2 percent, production of beverage by 24,5 percent, production of clothes by 21,1 percent, production of electrical equipment by 16,8 percent, chemical industrial products by 16,7 percent, tobacco products by 15,6 percent, textile industry products by 9,0 percent, production of computer, electronic and optical products by 7,9 percent, production of oil products by 5,4 percent, paper and cardboard by 2,0 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 1,3 percent, pharmaceutical products by 0,9 percent, while production of finished metal products decreased by 0,1 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 0,4 percent, production of food products by 2,6 percent, polygraphy products by 4,0 percent, machine and equipment by 19,5 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 16,3 percent, production of other vehicles by 45,1 percent, other industrial products by 46,9 percent,.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply decreased by 5,2 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 6,6 percent.
