Industrial output in January-July 2024

In January-July 2024 industrial products at 37,3 billion manats were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field, the product output in the oil-gas sector compared to the corresponding period of 2023 increased by 1,1%, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 8,0 percent.

65,0 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 29,3 percent in the manufacturing sector, 4,8 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam and 0,9 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 4,3 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 6,4percent.

Production of computer, electronic and optical products in the manufacturing sector increased by 73,6 percent, pharmaceutical products by 69,1 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 49,9 percent, production of electrical equipment by 33,9 percent, furniture by 33,3 percent, production of construction materials 30,2 percent, production of metallurgical industrial products by 29,2 percent, rubber and plastic products by 25,3 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 24,5 percent, production of finished metal products by 19,5 percent, production of beverage by 15,8 percent, tobacco products by 11,2 percent, chemical industrial products by 8,2 percent, production of food products by 6,2 percent, paper and cardboard by 5,2 percent, production of clothes by 3,8%, production of oil products by 1,3 percent, while wood manufacturing and production of wood products by decreased 2,1 percent, textile industry products by 9,8 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 11,3 percent, polygraphy products by 20,0 percent, production of machine and equipment by 28,7 percent, production of other vehicles by 45,2 percent, other industrial products by 50,1 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply decreased by 0,3 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased 9,7 percent.
