Industrial output in 2024

In 2024 industrial products at 64,1 billion manats or 1,1 percent more compared to the corresponding period of 2023 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in the oil-gas sector increased by 0,5 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 7,3 percent.

64,3 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 29,8 percent in the manufacturing sector, 4,9 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam and 1,0 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 3,6 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 6,2 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in the manufacturing sector increased by 81,5 percent, furniture by 45,9 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 44,7 percent, production of finished metal products by 38,9 percent, production of electrical equipment by 32,8 percent, production of metallurgical industrial products by 27,1 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 25,9 percent, production of clothes by 24,7 percent, rubber and plastic products by 18,0 percent, production of construction materials by 16,9 percent, production of beverage by 15,7 percent, production of food products by 10,5 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 9,3 percent, chemical industrial products by 6,5 percent, paper and cardboard by 5,9 percent, computer, electronic and optical products by 4,7 percent, tobacco products by 4,1 percent, other industrial products by 2,8 percent, production of textile industry products by 0,9 percent while installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment decreased by 1,2 percent, production of oil products by 11,0 percent, polygraphy products by 23,7 percent, production of other vehicles by 50,3 percent, machine and equipment by 51,4 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply decreased by 1,7 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 2,7 percent.
