Retail trade turnover
In January-February 2025, products at 9241,2 million manats, including food, beverages and tobacco products at 5066,9 million manats and non-food products at 4174,3 million manats were sold to the consumers in the retail trade network. Compared to January-February 2024 the retail trade turnover increased in real terms by 3,8 percent, including 1,8 percent for food products, beverages and tobacco products and 6,2 percent for non-food products.

In January-February 2025, 50,0 percent of resources the consumers spent on purchasing food products in the retail trade network, 4,8 percent - on beverages and tobacco products, 15,1 percent - on textile products, clothes and shoes, 5,7 percent - on gasoline and diesel fuel, 4,6 percent - electrical appliances and furniture, 2,5 percent - pharmaceutical products and medical equipment, 1,3 percent - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 16,0 percent - other non-food products.
During the reporting period, the value of goods sold by entities of the non-state sector increased in real terms by 3,8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 99,7 percent of the total retail trade turnover.
In January-February 2025, retail trade turnover compared to January-February 2024 increased in real terms by 7,6 percent - for enterprises, 1,7 percent – for private entrepreneurs, 3,4 percent - for markets and fairs.
During the reporting period, in the retail trade network at average monthly per country citizen have purchased products in amount of 451,8 manats, including food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 247,7 manats and non-food products in amount of 204,1 manats.
