Volume of emissions of harmful substances from motor vehicles increased by 3,2 percent and volume of emissions from stationary sources decreased by 19,8 percent. Volume of emissions of harmful substances from stationary sources in Baku, the industrial center, decreased by 14,4 thsd. tons, Sumgayit – 0,3 thsd. tons and Mingachevir - 0,2 thsd. tons.

As a result of preventive measures, last year 74,4 percent of harmful substances generated from stationary sources were captured and disposed by cleaning devices. During the year for decreasing quantity of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere 11,7 thsd. tons of emissions of harmful substances into air basin were prevented due to improvement of technological processes in industrial enterprises and increasing efficiency of existing cleaning devices.
