Industrial output in January-July 2025
In January-July 2025 industrial products at 36,6 billion manats or 2,3 percent less compared to the corresponding period of previous year were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in the oil-gas sector decreased by 3,5 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 5,5 percent.
61,5 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 32,0 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5,5 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam and 1,0 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.
Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 5,4 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 0,2 percent.
In the manufacturing sector, the production of wood processing and wood products increased by 88.2 percent, the production of pharmaceutical products by 81.3 percent, textile industry products by 27.5 percent, chemical industry products by 10.7 percent, food products by 10.6 percent, machinery and equipment by 10.6 percent, tobacco products by 8.1 percent, rubber and plastic products by 5.3 percent, and oil products by 1.4 percent, on the other hand, the production of beverages decreased by 1.2 percent, furniture production by 5.2 percent, construction materials by 5.8 percent, fabricated metal products by 10.4 percent, metallurgy products by 12.0 percent, electrical equipment by 12.2 percent, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 12.7 percent, installation and repair of machinery and equipment by 16.8 percent, computer, electronic and optical products by 20.0 percent, leather and leather products, including footwear, by 20.3 percent, paper and cardboard by 24.6 percent, printing products by 28.1 percent, while garment production decreased by 38.3 percent.
In the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply, the volume of production increased by 2.5 percent, and in the sector of water supply, waste treatment and processing the production volume increased by 4.7 percent.
