Changes in prices of consumer market
Consumer price index in July 2025 compared to July 2024 became 105,0%, including food products, beverages and tobacco products 106,2%, non-food products 102,1% and paid services provided to population 10560%.
In July 2025, the consumer price index was 99.9% compared to the previous month and in January-July – 105,8% compared to corresponding period of the previous year.
In July 2025, consumer price index for food products, beverages and tobacco products became 99,5% in comparison with the previous month and in January-July – 106,6% in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year.
In July of the current year compared to the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of several food products such as long-grain rice, beef, lamb (or mutton), sausage products, sunflower oil, corn oil, lemon, sour cherry, sweet cherry, apricot, greens (fresh herbs), chocolate products, while the decrease was observed in the prices of egg, banana, apple, pear, plum, peach, watermelon, melon, grape, white cabbage, cucumber, tomato, sweet pepper, eggplant, bean, table beet, carrot, onion, potato. No significant changes were observed in prices of other food products.
In July 2025, consumer price index for non-food products made 100,1% compared to the previous month and in January-July – 102,6% compared to corresponding period of the previous year. In July, in comparison with the previous month, an increase was observed in prices of non-food products such as detergents and cleaning products, personal hygiene products, while the decrease was observed in the prices of carpet, orthopedic mattresses, writing paper. No significant changes were noticed in prices of other non-food products.
In July 2025, consumer price index for paid services provided to population was 100,4% compared to the previous month and in January-July – 107,3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In July, compared to previous month, an increase in the prices of paid services provided to population was mainly observed in the prices of Dental services, passenger transportation services by air to countries other than CIS countries, leisure tours, accommodation services provided by hotels, while a decrease was observed in passenger transportation by air to CIS countries. No significant changes were observed in prices of other paid services.
