Memorandum of Understanding signed between the State Statistical Committee and the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan

On September 26, a meeting was held at the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the participants of the 3rd International Statistical Forum titled “Prospects of Statistics: The Role of International Projects”. Within the framework of the meeting, the “Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of statistics” was signed between the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Memorandum was signed by Tahir Budagov, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee, and Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda, Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. It was expressed with confidence that the implementation of the tasks arising from the Memorandum would yield effective results, contributing to the promotion and development of cooperation in statistics, expanding the exchange of internationally comparable statistical data reflecting the socio-economic situation of both countries, strengthening mutual relations between the statistical institutions of the two countries.
