Changes in prices of consumer market

Consumer price index in September 2025 compared to September 2024 became 105,7%, including food products, beverages and tobacco products 107,9%, non-food products 102,4% and paid services provided to population 105,3%.

In September 2025, the consumer price index was 101,1% compared to the previous month and in January-September – 105,7% compared to corresponding period of the previous year.

In September 2025, consumer price index for food products, beverages and tobacco products became 101,8% in comparison with the previous month and in January-September – 106,7% in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year.

In September of the current year compared to the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of several food products such as beef and mutton, fish and fish products, eggs, sour cream, curds, butter, pear, peach, walnut, hazelnut, white cabbage, greens, cucumber, tomato, sweet pepper, eggplant, green bean, table beet, carrot, garlic, potato, black and green tea, while the decrease was observed in the prices of lemon, banana, apple, grapes, onion. There have been no significant changes in the prices of other food products.

In September 2025, consumer price index for non-food products made 100,5% compared to the previous month, and in January-September – 102,6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In September, in comparison with the previous month, an increase was observed in prices of non-food products such as furmiture, spare parts for automobiles, personal hygiene products, stationery, jewellery products, while decrease was in prices of summer clothes. No significant changes were noticed in prices of other non-food products.

In September 2025, consumer price index for paid services provided to population was 100,6% compared to the previous month, and in January-September – 106,8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In September, compared to previous month, an increase was mainly observed in prices of paid services provided to population such as higher, secondary specialized and paid preschool education institutions, foreign language and university entrance preparatory courses, renting appartments and hairdressing services, while decrease was in prices of international passenger transportation services by air. No significant changes were observed in prices of other paid services.
