The 74th meeting of the Council of the Heads of Statistical Services of CIS member states was held

On December 18, the 74th meeting of the Council of the Heads of Statistical Services of member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held via video conference. The video conference, chaired by the Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tahir Budagov, was attended by the Chairman of the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, the Deputy Secretary General of the CIS, the Deputy Director of the Statistics Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as heads and deputy heads of statistical agencies of member states. At the meeting of the Council, participants discussed progress of the project “Development of CIS Statistics” and its work plan for 2026, the chairmanship of the Council of Heads of Statistical Services of CIS member states in 2026, and the 75th meeting of the Council. In addition, a communiqué of the 74th meeting of the Council of Heads of Statistical Services of CIS member states was adopted.
