The number of nights spent in hotels and similar establishments in 2025 increased by 6,7% compared with 2024 and amounted to 4569,5 thousand. 58,9% of the total nights spent were registered in Baku, 5,6% in Gusar,5,1% in Naftalan, 5,0% in Khachmaz, 3,7% in Gabala, 3,2% in Guba, 3,0% in Lankaran, 2,2% in Shabran, 1,5% in Shamakhi, 1,2% in Ganja, 1,1% in Shusha, 1,1% in Masalli, 1,1% in Gakh, 0,9% in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and 6,4% in other districts and cities. The number of nights spent by foreigners and stateless persons increased by 11,3 percent compared with 2024 and reached 2614,3 thousand, representing 57,2% of total nights. 13,6% of the total nights were spent by the citizens of India, 10,1% - the Russian Federation, 9,3% - Türkiye, 8,3% - Saudi Arabia, 5,6% - Israel, 5,1% - the United Arab Emirates, 3,9% - Pakistan, 3,4% - China, 3,3% - Uzbekistan, 3,2% - the USA, 2,8% - Kazakhstan, 2,4% - Kuwait, 2,2% - Great Britain, 1,3% - Germany, 1,0% - Italy, 24,5% - citizens of other countries. 81,1% of the nights in hotels spent by foreigners and stateless persons were registered in Baku city, 6,1% in Gusar, 4,4% in Naftalan, 3,2% in Gabala, 2,4% in Guba, 0,7% in Shamakhi and 2,1% in other districts and cities. The number of nights spent in hotels by the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan compared with 2024 increased by 1,1% and made 1955,2 thousand, representing 42,8% of total nights. In 2025, hotels and similar establishments’ revenues decreased by 5,9% compared with 2024 and amounted to 653,0 million manats, 61,8% of which were from services for the provision of rooms, 27,2% catering services, 2,9% treatment and health services and 8,1% other services. In 2025, one-time use of rooms in hotels and similar establishments was 24,4% (24,0% in 2024). This indicator was 48,5% in Naftalan, 41,7% in Shabran, 36,9% in Baku, 31,7% in Gusar, 27,7% in Sabirabad, 23,3% in Lankaran, 21,5% in Gabala, 20,5% in Shamakhi, 19,5% in Barda, 16,6% in Guba, 15,7% - Beylagan, 15,6% - Aghdam, 15,5% in Gakh, 15,3% - Masalli, while in other cities and regions, it was below 15,3%.
