Production of Gross Domestic Product in January-May 2026

In January-May 2026 gross domestic product (GDP) in amount of 51783,8 million manats was produced and no change was recorded in real terms compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Value added produced in oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 1,0 percent, while in non-oil and gas sector it increased by 0,4 percent.

36,3 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 10,5 percent trade; repair of transport means, 7,4 percent transport and storage, 4,6 percent construction, 4,2 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2,9 percent tourists’ accommodation and public catering, 2,0 percent information and communication, 22,8 percent other fields, 9,3 percent net taxes on product and import.

During this period, value added in information and communication fields increased in real terms by 10,1 percent, by 6,8 percent in transportation and storage, by 3,8 percent in trade; repair of transport means, by 2,3 percent in agriculture, forestry and fishing, by 2,3 percent in tourists’ accommodation and public catering, by 0,4 percent in other service fields, by 0,4 percent in industry, while it decreased by 23,0 percent in construction.
