In January-May 2026, investments amounting to 6650,1 million manats or 2,1 percent less in real terms compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, were directed to fixed assets. The volume of investments in the oil and gas sector increased by 28,4 percent in real terms and made 2551,9 million manats, while the volume of investments directed to the non-oil and gas sector decreased by 14,7 percent in real terms and made 4098,2 million manats.

The volume of investments directed to fixed assets increased by 16,0 percent in real terms and made 3960,3 million manats in goods producing sectors; decreased by 23,5 percent in real terms and made 1732,1 million manats in service sectors, while the volume of investments directed to the construction of dwelling houses decreased by 13,9 percent in real terms and made 957,7 million manats.
